pawst is operated by YEUPY PTE. LTD. ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the pawst mobile application ("the App").

pawst is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, you may not use pawst.

In this Privacy Policy, we will explain what information we collect about you, how we use it, when we share it, and the controls we provide you to manage the information you share with us.

1. Information we process about you

pawst collects and processes information that you provide to us directly, data we gather from your use of the App, and, in limited cases, data shared by third parties. This section explains what data we collect, why, and how it works in practice.

1.1 Data you provide to us

Account Information: To use our App, you will need to create an account. When you do, we ask for:

• Your email address
• Your username and pet's name
• Your pet's breed (optional)
• Your pet's birthdate (used only for customization purposes)
• Your location (text you provide, not GPS-based)
• A profile photo of your pet
• Profile prompts with answers and optional images (for social engagement)

Content You Share: When using the App, you can post pictures and short captions of your pet(s). All photos are taken directly using your device's camera. You can also react to content posted by others, such as by liking or commenting on their posts. You can create albums to organize your posts.

Contacting Us: When you reach out to our support team or submit feedback, we collect:

• Your contact email,
• The content of your message,
• Any screenshots or data you provide,
• Any other information you may decide to share with us.

1.2 Data we collect when you use our App

Like all internet-based services, as you use our App, we automatically receive information about you from your device and your usage of our App.

Connection and Technical Data such as:

• IP address, account creation date, last login, device type, operating system version, language preference, and application version.
• user_id (unique identifier generated at account creation) and device_id (unique identifier generated when connecting on a new device).

Mobile and Device Identifiers:

Our app uses Firebase SDKs which may automatically collect certain device identifiers for analytics and functionality purposes. These include:

• Device identifiers (e.g., IDFV for iOS devices, Android ID for Android devices)
• App instance identifiers for analytics

When we introduce advertising in the future, we may request access to mobile advertising IDs (Apple IDFA or Google AAID) with your consent as required by platform policies.

Interaction Data:

• Friends (number of friends, friend invitations)
• Posting streaks (consecutive days of posting)
• Album collections you create

Usage Data: Actions performed on the App, time of posting Content, number of pawst posts, Content viewed, Content interactions, the fact that you deleted Content, application crashes, pages visited and event logs. We will also receive information about where you came from to download the App (for example, if you clicked on an ad on another platform) from our partners.

3. When we share information about you

Service Providers: To bring you our App we work with a small group of partners who provide us services. This includes partners who help with technical and hosting support, sending notifications, publishing and sharing content, user analytics and satisfaction surveys, management of security incidents or fraudulent activity, etc.

Our current service providers include:

• Firebase (Google LLC) - Authentication, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications
• Apple Inc. - Sign in with Apple authentication
• Google LLC - Google Sign-In authentication

Ad Partners: Note: pawst does not currently display advertising. When this feature is introduced, you will find a list of our advertising partners on our website. This sharing will only occur if you have consented.

Legal and Statutory Purposes: From time to time we may receive legal requests for information related to our users, be required to proactively share data with authorities when we learn of certain Content on our App, address fraud or security concerns, or protect people on our App or elsewhere from harm.

Change in Ownership: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or bankruptcy, pawst may share, sell or transfer information about you. This Privacy Policy would apply to all transferred information.

4. International transfers

Some of the partners and service providers referred to in this policy are located outside of the European Union. In such case, we ensure that the personal data is transferred to countries recognized as offering an equivalent level of protection or one of the mechanisms offering appropriate guarantees is implemented.

5. How long we keep information about you

We keep your information only for as long as it's needed to provide our services to you, in line with legal requirements and data protection authorities guidelines.

6. What controls you have over your information

Notifications: In the settings of the application you can choose and control which notifications you receive about our App.

Who sees your Content: Note that when you share Content through our App, that Content is available to everyone. Each time you share Content, it's published on pawst's discovery feed. How other users use your Content is not under our control.

Delete Your Account: In the settings of the App, you can choose to delete your account at any time. If you choose to delete your account, we will process your deletion request within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days. Your account and all of your information will be permanently deleted once the request is processed.

Consent: When we rely on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time from the "settings" page in our application.

7. What rights do you have

Privacy is a fundamental human right. Every person that uses our App, irrespective of where they reside, has:

• Right to access and obtain a copy of your data
• Right of rectification
• Right to erasure/deletion
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to withdraw your consent
• Right to object
• Right to portability

8. U.S. Privacy Rights

This section applies specifically to users residing in the United States. We comply with relevant U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including the CCPA, CPRA, and other applicable state laws.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

• Access your data
• Delete your data
• Opt out of sale/sharing of your personal information
• Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. If your browser supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat that as a valid request to opt out.

9. Children

pawst is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.

10. Update of our Privacy Policy

We can update our Privacy Policy if this is necessary or if the law requires it. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means as required by law.
